Mopar Madness: The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO Gets a Limited-Edition Upgrade
For over a decade, Mopar has been crafting special-edition vehicles that blend factory-backed reliability with custom styling and performance. Since 2009, Mopar-branded vehicles have given enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy unique factory-built customization without sacrificing warranty coverage. For 2025, Mopar has set its sights on the already-impressive Ram 1500 RHO, elevating its off-road prowess and exclusivity with a limited production run of just 250 units.
A Mopar-Tuned Powerhouse
While the Mopar edition of the 1500 RHO doesn’t receive any additional power over its standard counterpart, that’s not a bad thing. Under the hood, it retains the Hurricane High Output inline-six engine, delivering 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain allows for a 0-60 mph time of 4.6 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 13.2 seconds—numbers that ensure it remains a formidable force on and off the road.
SEMA-Inspired Exterior Upgrades
The first teaser of the Mopar 1500 RHO came in the form of a concept vehicle showcased at the 2024 SEMA Show. While the production version doesn’t feature the concept’s satin black finish, it still exudes a bold presence with a Diamond Black Pearl Coat paint job. The Mopar-exclusive graphics package enhances the truck’s aggressive aesthetic, incorporating the Omega M Mopar logo in a striking, graduated pattern along the body striping.
The Mopar 1500 RHO also boasts functional exterior upgrades. It rides on 18x9-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, ensuring maximum off-road capability. A full-size spare tire is mounted in the bed via a fully integrated carrier, a feature that enhances both functionality and rugged appeal. Adding to its off-road readiness, the truck includes a RamBar accessory bar, which serves as the perfect mounting point for an auxiliary lightbar. Unlike the concept, which sported TYRI 12-inch LED lights, the production version leaves the lighting choice up to the owner.
Other exterior enhancements include a Mopar spray-in bedliner, texturized off-road running boards, and Mopar Blue tow hooks mounted on the front and rear bumpers. The hood maintains the standard RHO’s aggressive, vented design but gains a Mopar-specific graphic along its raised section.
Luxurious Yet Rugged Interior
Step inside, and the Mopar 1500 RHO greets you with premium materials and special edition touches. The interior is anchored by the RHO’s Level 1 Equipment Group, which features 12-way power, heated, and ventilated front seats with massage functionality. Seating surfaces, including the rear bench, are wrapped in Natura Plus leather with perforated suede inserts.
While the SEMA concept featured Mopar Blue leather accents, the production version does not appear to include this detail. However, it does come with a Mopar instrument panel accessory rail, allowing for easy mounting of accessories, and a Mopar Blue serialized badge affixed to the lockable center console, marking its limited-edition status.
Limited Availability and Pricing
With a total production run of only 250 units, the Mopar 1500 RHO is an ultra-exclusive offering. Of those, just 225 units will be allocated for the U.S., while 25 will head to Canada. Given its scarcity and extensive Mopar enhancements, the truck carries a premium price tag of $78,590—$6,500 more than the standard RHO.
The 2025 Mopar Ram 1500 RHO represents a perfect fusion of off-road performance and factory-backed customization. With a powerful Hurricane engine, aggressive styling, and exclusive Mopar touches, this limited-edition truck is sure to be a sought-after collector’s item. For enthusiasts looking to own a piece of Mopar history, placing an order sooner rather than later is highly recommended, as deliveries are set to begin this spring.
